Can't install XP on iMac Aluminum

I'v got problems with installing XP SP2 Prof on my new iMac Aluminum (With Leopard). I'v got Vista Ultimate as well ans it installs without any promlems with Boot Camp. But XP stops installing every time the state of Hardware installation begins, my mac just switch off every time this process begins. is there any way to solve the problem. I hate Vista and I think, that was my giggest mistake to buy it. So I want to have XP, not VIsta.
