Can't invite people to calendar events?

I synced to exchange and I can't create a new calendar item and send it to people?

Am I missing something?

If its not there so much for any "enterprise" features. WTF good is it to create a meeting that you can't invite anyone?

Unfortunately it's true. Here's an Apple support article with the same issue:

Also, it doesn't appear that you can reply to an invitation.

Hopefully this will be fixed in the next software rev.
