Can't Jailbreak 3gs 3.1.3

Was going to jailbreak with Spirit but get error c000035a. I tried running compatibility mode but same thing. Guess I'll not be jailbreaking my iphone.

Have you tried uninstalling spirit and trying again. Make sure your setting it with windows 95 compatibility.

Does Spirit work or not ?

This is all new to me so I dont have a clue about JBing any phone. That said I really want to use MyWi so I can tether to my iPad. Just concerned about screwing up my phone in the process.

tell that to my 3GS 3.1.3 there are instructions right telling to switch compatibility to 95-98 windows. www.spiritjb.com here is a good tutorial. took me about 30 seconds. also I am running vista. http://www.iphonedownloadblog.com/2010/05/02/jailbreak-iphone-ipad-spirit/ spirit is working great for me. if you don't like it you can always restore.
