I've tried EVERYTHING to re-JB my iPhone.
Its a 3G iPhone on 2.1. I'm running 10.5.5 and iTunes 8.0.1.
I managed to JB when I first bought it - but I had to reset it due to it constantly freezing. When I tried to re-JB almost 5 hours ago, it wouldn't work.
And hasn't.
If I use QuickPwn, I get to the Entering DFU mode - but it never does. iPhone stays off, and QuickPwn just freezes - it doesn't upload anything and the progress bar doesn't move.
Pwnage Tool creates the custom IPSW, gets to the Entering DFU mode - and on the rare occassion I get the success message, where it tells me to restore with the custom firmware in iTunes - iTunes throws multiple error messages - the iPod cannot be detected, error 2001, or error 201. Please disconnect and re-connect.
If I try and get the phone to re-enter DFU mode, it freezes on the Apple loading screen.
It's becoming a nightmare. Has my phone somehow become damaged and resistant to Jailbreaking?
I've restored about 10 times, and restarted my MacBook and iPhone a countless number of times. All I want to do is change the text-message bubble colour!! *weeps*
