Can't listen to MMS audio files I receive

Anyone else have this problem? I was sent an audio file (just a voice recording) via MMS. When I click on it, I get "This movie format is not supported." I'm assuming it's just a .wav file, but I'm not 100%.

Is this a limitation of MMS? Or is there something wrong on my end?
