I recently hooked up a Linksys router which involved resetting the network preferences. The preferences won't stay locked though- despite locking the "lock," it's unlocked when I come back to it (and I have to come back to it every time I want to get online to re-save the Linksys settings).

Any ideas? Thanks very much.

I am having the same issues so I will jump on this post rather than start an identical post.

When I go into my Security, and activate my firewall, I lock it (lower left corner) When I check it a day or two later, it is unlocked.

How in the world is this happening? No one else has physical access to my computer. Is there a way for this to happen remotely? I have a brother that has professed his hacking ability, and I am certain that at some point, he has remotely gained access to my computer.

How is this even possible?
