After a power failure I now can't log into one of the accounts on my iMac. All of the other logins are working just fine. The one that I cannot access is the one that was logged in during the power failure.
I have run the permissions repair and also run Disk Warrior. Still nothing.
I went back in Time Machine and restored the User folder from before the power failure. Still nothing.
I created a new log in, but when I try to move the user folders it tells me I don't have permission to do that. I just want my mail info and pictures back.
I don't know what else to do. I am relatively new to Mac so don't use any big words, and speak slowly.
I was a PC user and my brain is still trying to adapt.
It is a 2GHz Intel Core 2 Duo / 3GB 667MHz DDR2 SDRAM about 3 years old.
Thank you in advance for trying to help me!!
