The reason for the downgrade is a long story, I'll cut to the chase. I am downgrading mavericks to snow leopard. I was able to use migration assistant using version 3.0 on my MBP with snow leopard (3.0.4 of Migration Assistant won't allow this).
I successfully transferred over my Mavericks TM backup to Snow Leopard, but now I can't login to that account. It is so bizarre. Even resetting the password in settings doesn't work.
My question, does not being able to login have anything to do with the items I checked in migration assistant (user, application, settings, other files etc.) before the transfer? The only item I 'unchecked' from the migration assistant options was the 'settings'? Was that a mistake?
What items should I have checked for this transfer to work!
