Hello.
I cannot find my earlier posts so I am unable to find the names of those
posters who helped me. BUT,
I do want to thank them as I am now back into my Mac.
I had to use Target Disk Mode and while I was not able to retrieve
everything, I was able to back up what was most important to me.

I couldn't reinstall however as I needed to reformat my HD and that needed to be done at a shop where I did Target Disk Mode.

But all is pretty much fine here in southeast Asia. Good luck to all who are trying to solve a goldurnit computer problem.
