when I go to member login on the home page. It directs me to an accou t creation page. If i use the link to the login screen I put in my user name (the 5 character name that came with the confermation email, and password) or whatever it is, the login page doesn't do anything. I d
I don't have problems loggin into any other sites that I use to make purchases.
 
The Apple ID you would use to log in to the iTunes Store should be your e-mail address, not just a five-character string.
 
Looks like I gave someone $35 for something I could have had for free????
 
Er, yes, if what you paid for was supposed to be a login to access the iTunes Store. (Actually, if that's what happened, you paid $35 in order to not get something you could have had for free.)

Access to the store is free...it's the downloads you have to pay for individually.
