Can't login to MBP 10.7.2

I restarted my mbp this evening, and upon reboot I typed in my password and the screen goes light grey for about a second and kicks me back to login screen.

I booted into recovery and did a disk repair and a permission repair. I even reset the password for both the root and my account and I am still unable to login. It doesn't reject the password, it just goes grey and kicks me back into login. Safe mode, same thing.

Please help. 2 day old mbp.

If it's two days old, bring it in to apple to let them diagnos it. With it being such a new computer, it would be a anything.

Did you find a resolution to this issue? I'm getting that on a 10.7.2. I cannot log into one particular user, but can on the admin user.
