Can't login

I have a 2007 white MacBook. For some unknown reason I am unable to login. I've had the same username and password for all my Mac computers. But now the MacBook will not recognize my password. The login window shakes every time I hit the login button. Any ideas as to what may be going on?

Might the keyboard settings have changed? Is Caps Lock on?
