Anyone have any idea? I can't for the life of me mount any .DMG files on my Early 2011 MBP running Lion. I am not sure if I somehow changed a setting or if something crap out on me. Everything else seems to work normal. I have an iMac running Lion and I can mount the .dmg files so it is not the file themselves. Any Ideas? Thanks for you help guys. I have attached a window shot.

Does it also happen in another, even temporarily created, user account?
Have you considered doing a clean install of Mac OS X 10.7 Lion?

- Create a new test user with admin rights and try to replicate the issue.
- If Issue continues reset PRAM.
- If issue continues repair permission.
- If issue continues its time to erase and install.
I have seen this happen before and it usually required an Archive and Install or an Erase and Install.
