A friend gave me a used wireless Apple A1255 Bluetooth keyboard. However it is SEALED shut as in you can't open the battery compartment to change the batteries. Can't do it with a coin like normal....tried a few different size screwdrivers.....uh uh. Thinking maybe the batteries corroded inside I soaked that end in White vinegar to loosen any seal that might have been the result....no way.....tried WD40.....no. There is no outside corrosion evident. There must be a way short of drilling the dam thing open. Would taking it to an Apple store be worth it if it's close? Any ideas most welcome

Most likely the old batteries bloated up. I've had a couple of flashlights that suffered the same fate.

Just recycle the keyboard, get a replacement and move on with your life.
