hi all, sorry if this is the wrong place. I went for a battery replacement a week ago on my 6 and they messed it up so I got a new replacement 6 (mute button was going on old one so yay!). But every time I reset and restore the phone, over WiFi, logging in correctly to iCloud and everything, all the apps restore, although most of my apps have a little iCloud logo next to their app name, and when I tap to open them they go into the darkened downloading state for a couple of seconds before reverting to before and a box pops up saying “unable to download item, please try again”. I’m completely stumped, I really want to use my phone again, it’s been such a long week without my apps. Thanks in advance

edit: I should mention i've restored several times, tried logging out of and back into icloud, restarting, different wifis

Have you confirmed those apps are still available in the app store? If they're not you will need to see if you have back up versions on your computer.

They might have been either 32 bit apps or just plain no longer available in the app store.
