Can't open file in Garage Band - Help!

I recorded my weekly voice lesson as I do each week on my MacBook...I can open all other files in my Garage Band library - but this week's...I click on the file, it's there, it says initializing and then NOTHING. It just hovers...for hours and won't open. Any advice? I had some very valuable stuff on there! Aak! Thanks.

If the audio is all that matters to you, just find the file in Finder, then right click -> show package contents and you should be able to find the files in there.
