cant open my macbook pro

hey people i cant seem to be able to open my mack book pro. i havent used it in some time but stil, it worked fine the last time i used it...
i have tried all the stuff they say to do in both of the following links:

i cant even hear a sound coming form the comp and the screen remains black. if u could help me i would be sooo grateful bc our mac support here in turkey sucks... so im open for suggestions

What MacBook Pro do you have, and if you don't know that, when did you buy it then (if new)?
