Can't open snippets in InDesign CS4 ?

Hi,

I've saved a snippet from InDesign by; choosing the export option as well as dragging the object the to desktop. When I try to open the snippet by double clicking on it or going to File> Open, it comes up with this message ( attached )

I don't know why it's not opening since the message displayed is not conflicting anything I have i.e open in another application. Do I need a plug in ?

I've got it to work now. I just draged the snippet from the folder to a new document
