cant open the document folder and download folder

hi everyone,
i have a problem for my macbook pro 15".
i cant open the document folder and download folder.
i can se inside the folder from the dock folder icon, but i cant click open in finder.(application not responding).
i wait the hole night but same.
how to fix this.

hmm interesting i have not run into this issue but when i run into odd little things, i usually just restart my computer and it works >_< hehe but that may not be as simple to fix.

i LOVE a clean doc so i do not have documents under my doc i run them in my finder, i have it on the side bar and under my user acc

and my downloads folder is also under my user acc in my finder on the side bar.

maybe try software update, maybe that will stir it up and it will work?

maybe try using your disk utility and verify your hard drive? hmmm its just a little thing its weird >_< keep me posted on what works

i did disk utility and verify hard drive, but no work.
