Hi.
I need help please.
I am using an iPhone 4 on iOS 7.1.2 (jailbroken with pangu)
I wanted to clean my phone. So I used reset all settings and data in setting of iPhone. But it didnot got complete as it got stuck after white apple logo at the loading (rotating circle). So I used ilex r.a.t tweak to reset all data.
And after whole reset I can't open any system app that uses internet and I haven't insalled any new app yet.
Apps not running are :cydia, safari, mail, calculator, weather, maps etc.

Please find me a solution. Thanx in advance.

I searched many forums and tried following thing but nothing happened yet :
1. Reset all settings
2. Soft reset
3. Can't delete appsync or any other tweak as cydia is not working.
4. Unable to enter safe mode
5. No software like ifunbox, iexplorer can find the var folder.

The jailbreak community advises NEVER to use Erase All Content and Settings when jailbroken.

If you wanted to "clean" your phone, Semi-Restore, iCleaner Pro and various other options would have been available to you.

What you did, put your phone into a boot loop, which is what happens when you do an Erase All Content and Settings on a jailbroken iPhone. I'm amazed you were even able to use ILEX RAT.

So…"Please find me a solution". OK.

Put your iPhone in DFU mode. Connect to iTunes. Press the button that says "Restore and Update".

Welcome to iOS 7.1.2 Lucky for you it's jailbreakable. Jailbreak again. Restore from backup if you have one. If you don't, set up as a new phone.

You have to restore. Your phone is hosed by your own actions.

Thanx for your reply eyoungren.
I am actually new to jailbreaking. I simply searched to restore device to factory setting and they told me to use ilex rat. So is there no other way than restoring using iTunes
?as it needs 1 gb download and I can't download that much

Also I want to add that iPhone is booting up like normaly it does and other apps like camera ,photos do work but safari etc. Don't work

No, not really. You cannot access Apple apps and you cannot access Cydia. Effectively your hands are tied because the OS is not functioning. The only way to fix that is to restore and update - via iTunes.

Ok thanks a lot.
I will do the restore and update via tunes somehow .
Any tip for me if u feel to give some .

If you feel the need to clean your phone again, download and use iCleaner Pro. It can take care of a lot of things, and also allows you to disable certain system daemons that load at startup if you feel you don't need them.

And Semi-Restore now seems to be recommended over ILEX RAT.

man NEVER EVER use ''in phone'' restore or reset when jailbroken!!
You can risk never boot in home screen again !
For cleaning your phone there is app called iCleaner or iCleaner Pro ..
And it cleans device properly even that what original reset don't !

DON'T do restore over itunes..! u will loose jaibreak !

Aaaalright so basically he is safe .. OK then @Snehil001 , go ahead and happily restore your ip4 via itunes ..
Thought he would get 8.x update..
Nope, the 4 can only get iOS 7 and the last update for that was 7.1.2, which is of course jailbreakable.

The 4s gets iOS 8, so you would be totally correct in that case.

My "nope" was in response to your statement about what you thought.

I was agreeing with you and just giving a bit more info, not criticizing you.

Well thaks for your previous replies to my problem.
But again I want to tell that its difficult for me to download 1.3 gb update file in itunes for update and restore.

aaah OK .. no problem (see my avatar :D)

My iphone can still capture pics ,I can use app store as well, I am able to listen to music ,I can call, but only apps(stock apps + downloaded i tried chrome) that uses internet crashes.
Still there no way other than update and restore vs its taking too long .

Cydia won't open for him. If Cydia won't open there is no way to get to iCleaner or iCleaner Pro.

Yess cydia isn't opening as well. And I have no app installed other than the stock ones

if you have just stock apps why the heck u have jailbroken phon?!?!?
man just wipe your phone over itunes and start over... that's it..
He started jailbroken and made a mistake that broke things.

He's unable (or unwilling) to download the over 1GB update through iTunes so is still trying to find a solution (there isn't one) to fix his mistake.

thanks again for the reply.
ok so i am gonna restore.
some questions i have in my mind:
1. is it important to go in DFU mode? bcs even without that itunes is showing the option to restore.
2. if yes to above then do i have to keep my iphone connected all the time ehile i download that 1.13 GB ( i think ans should be no)

3.are the {Restore iphone..}(comes in normal mode) and {update and restore} (in dfu mode)the same thing.as they both download the same file.

OR if there is a way to download the system update file externally on my android phone and put it somewhere in itunes and then i proceed with the restore

Ok then pls ans my doubts in yes or no in above rreply as i am not sure about them.

1. No. I suggested it to avoid any problems that may occur because you have a semi-functional phone.
2. The phone needs to stay connected.
3. If the phone is already on 7.1.2 as your second screenshot indicates then there is no difference. Either one will work.

There are IPSW files online you can download. I don't know where, others have provided links here before, but I don't normally suggest it simply because I am unfamiliar with the correct IPSW that you or anyone else should download. If I suggest the wrong one then there may be problems.

iTunes knows what you need however.
