Can't play a WMA file

Hey all,

I bought a uk audio file, the extension is wma.... I cant get it to play in any of my apps, not even windows media player. Are there any free programs i can play this in or convert it to play in itunes?...

Sounds like it is a protected Windows Media file, only playable in Windows Media Player 10 or 11 since Microsoft wont allow it to be played anywhere else. Only way is to get on a windows machine and see if you can rip it to a CD then re-import it as an Mp3

Use Flip4Mac http://www.microsoft.com/mac/otherproducts/otherproducts.aspx?pid=windowsmedia It's free and allows you to play wmv and wma audio files in quicktime.

That file is probably using the Windows Media DRM, which is incompatible with the Mac. Totally incompatible.

k it plays on the pc...now i have to find a blank cd lol.....
