I just downloaded a new album this morning, but neither iTunes nor my iPod will play the tracks. The purchase seemed to happen without a problem, and the iTunes store says I don't have any pending purchases. The files are there, and even transferred to my iPod nano (1G). When I push play in iTunes, nothing happens; when I push play in the iPod, it just skips quickly through all the tracks without playing.

I don't get any error messages, and older iTunes tracks play without a hitch. I'm logged in and the computer is authorized.

My set-up: I downloaded the tracks on a Windows XP sp2 machine and they're being stored on an external USB hard drive connected to a new Airport Extreme Base Station. (This hard drive serves as a network drive for my XP computer and MacBook, so I can share music and photos.)

Well, any ideas? Has anyone else had any iTunes issues like this?

Thanks,
Doug

I contacted Apple support and they re-added the tracks to my download queue. I downloaded again and it worked fine. Odd.
