Cant play tv shows

After installing a new hard drive I uploaded everything from my external and everything came over just fine. When I open itunes everything is there and all my songs play just fine but for some reason when I click on any tv show or music video it doesnt play. Nothing at all happens. Does anyone have any trouble shooting hints?

Are the videos from iTunes or did you rip them yourself?

All of them were bought from the itunes store. And I can play my music that was bought from the itunes store just fine, just not the videos

Did you try finding the files in the Finder (or right-clicking them in iTunes and clicking Show In Finder or whatever), and opening them in QuickTime? I just tried it with an iTS* TV show and it played in QuickTime.
