Can't print from word/excel

So At work, there is a mac that can print from any app other then WORD and EXCEL.


Any ideas? Why could an mac print to a printer from any app but excel or word (But CAN print from Entrouage)


I always get sad when I have to go help out with some mac troubleshooting and then have to come back to my POS XP machine.

Has it ever been able to print from these apps? Could the trial version of Office still be installed or even in the Trash? Does it give any errors when you try to print? Can you still use the print dialogue box to save files as PDFs?
