Does anyone have a direct link to download a printer driver for OS x 10.5.8 ??
I have to use a HP Deskjet 3755 and have bounced around everywhere looking for the driver. I can't scan or print. Thanks..
Seems it will work with 10.6 and above.

Or there is something here, where you choose a generic printer from within your mac? I picked generic PCL from within the computer, I also have another driver for my printer, but it just comes up as blank and won't print.

I don't know which someone posted a big long list.
I'll restart the computer and printer maybe that will do it.

Try looking at the Gutenprint project, they have created printer drivers for modern printers that work on old macs.

Yeah, you might struggle with that. Most modern printers have removed the print processing electronics and implement it in software instead to reduce costs.

Easiest workaround is to create a PDF, then print it using a newer machine.

Yeah I agree getting a 2016 printer to work on PowerPc with 10.5.8 is just not happening as its a 'dead' architecture. Most modern printers will still have support for 10.6 as most manufactures can easily make a driver that's x86 compatible across the entire Intel mac range.
