hey guys i am having major issues. i am running osx 10.5.3 at my office we have a network. i have the only computer running os x everything else is running xp or vista.
i can see all the other computers on the network under shared. my issue is this. when i try and add a printer i go to more printers and select windows.
i see a "printer" under one of the computers. it doesnt show me the name of the printer which is fine. when i go to select drivers the drivers are not under the list offered. the printer is a CANON MF6530.
i have downloaded the drivers from canons website in the dmg file and installed them. it askes me to restart which my macbook does. but then i still do not see the drivers under the list. what am i doing wrong. thanks guys.
