Hello everyone,

For some reason i can not receive software updates. I know there are updates for my MacBook out there, but when i click APPLE then SOFTWARE UPDATE it will say that there are no available updates for your computer at this time. Its strange though because when i opened iTunes and iPhoto, it told me there were updates available...then took me right to software update to tell me there were none available. Does anyone else have this problem or know what to do? thanks a lot!

Apple applications must be in their default locations in the Applications folder for Software Update to find and update them. Like Eidorian said, if you moved them, Software Update won't know where they are.

Well i haven't done it knowingly...but i will definitely check. I'm sure this is a noob question, but how do i know if the application is in it's original folder? Thanks for your help btw
