Just did a clean install of Lion. When I go to the mac app store to download a few apps I had before it does not give me the option of re downloading, it just says "Installed". I looked in my apps folder and they are not there.

Anyone else with this issue ? I could probably get them off of my carbon copy cloner drive, but I'm curious as to why I can't re download.

Mac App Store not redownloading apps in Lion

I have the same problem.
New applications are fine, but re-installing does not work.

It is very repeatable, once a solution is found I will also want to know how to remove all these free apps from my account.

Solution found

I just had a similar problem. I downloaded OSX Lion, but when I started the installation, it said the file had been corrupted. So, I tried re-downloading it, but couldn't figure out how. Finally, I looked in the applications folder and found "Install Mac OSX Lion." After dragging it to the trash can, I was able to re-download from the App store. It seems you can only re-download Lion if that application is no longer in the Application folder. Hope this helps!
