Can't register MacBook Pro with MobileMe after motherboard replacement

The Apple service center in Hong Kong replaced the motherboard in my new 15" MBPro and now my machine has no serial number so MobileMe won't register it (I guess that's why it won't register now.) Any insights/suggestions on a work around?
