Cant reject friend request

I have a friend request that ive tried rejecting by checking the 'reject' box, but it wont go away!! How can I reject it for sure?

Have you tried a different browser? Clearing your cache?

Have you made sure that you;ve checked the box next to their username, and then clicked "Reject" and finally "Save Changes"? You need to make sure that you mark which user you want to reject.

(OT, but I keep one friend request so I always have "Your Notifications: 1" and I can easily get to things like Quote Notifications.)
