I have a menu item that I can't seem to get rid of, it would be awesome if someone could help me out.

here is the menu bar:

Here's how it shows when I click on the menu item:

so, how do I get rid of the icon, I really don't know what it is, so I don't want it, is there any quick way of getting rid of it?

thanks

also, none of the buttons as I deleted the software, yet for some reason the menu item stayed.

It would suggest that the application is still running. Have you checked your login items to see for any mention of Personal Backup X5.

The best thing to do for this software (I loath Intego) is to run the uninstaller as it puts a lot of stuff all over your computer. Just download it again, pretty quick from apple's site. And when you run the installer there is the option for uninstall.
