Since Sierra (Now Mojave), I've been having trouble removing Desktop from the Finder sidebar. If I drag it out so it disappears in a little cloud, or turn it off through Finders preferences, it re-appears half a second later. It even turns on the tickbox back on in Finders Preferences when it does so... So annoying!
Any ideas on how I can remove it permanently? What .plist corresponds to Finder windows sidebar?
