Can't remove page saved to dashboard

Somehow I saved a page/link for a product I was interested in to my dashboard. Now I can't remove it. Tried opening the widget control but it's not listed there. Advice please? thank you.

Just to make sure you're doing this properly, you're trying to remove it by:
1. opening dashboard
2. clicking the + icon on the bottom left
3. then clicking the x icon beside your widget, right?

When looking at the screen, press the bottom left "+" button at which point a cross should appear on the top left of the web widget.

If it does, click it

That did it. For some reason the first few times I tried no "x"'s appeared but now all is well. Thanks for the help, have a great weekend.
