I can't remove a malware file from my usb.

when i move it to trash i get this: "Item “mbdm.exe” is locked. Do you want to move it to the Trash anyway?" and ill click continue.

Then i get this message: "The operation can’t be completed because the item “” is locked."

I am the admin on this mac.
When I "Get Info" on the file I see the "Locked" tick box is ticked and I cant un-click it. It's NOT grayed out. The sharing and permissions say I can only read the file.

See pic attached of "Get Info"

Thanks.

The Usb key already does work on both PC and mac.

Formatting it though doesn't seem practical as the nature of PCs means ill be getting these malware files again and again.

Any other way to overwrite the permissions?
