It appears as though part of the new security measures in the new 2.2 EFI update also include not being able to reset the PRAM w/o the firmware password. http://support.apple.com/kb/DL1450

Now when I attempt to reset the PRAM it takes me to the lock screen.

I'm totally locked out of my 2011 MBP 15". Have tried removing RAM, no avail.

Has anyone else had this issue?
How are we supposed to work around lost firmware passwords now?

please help us, i have same problem, my macbook pro 2011 is locked and i can't boot it from hard drive or dvd rom!!
