I have a iphone 3g, it was jailbroken and unlocked. I hit reset on the iphone itself and it said it would take about an hour, after the bar loaded up it stayed stuck at the apple logo that you see when the device is booting up. I put it into dfu mode so I can restore it and now when I click restore it wont because an error 3194 message shows up and nothing happens. I was running 4.0 software on it and thats what I want to restore to, any suggestions?

You should stay away from the erase all data option next time.
Try dfu mode on another computer to see if it restores.
