I have a current-generation AppleTV, and a CrunchyRoll subscription purchased through iTunes. After a software update, I was logged out of all my services except the iTunes store. NBD, whatever. But unlike the rest of them, I can't seem to restore my CrunchyRoll subscription. When I go to the CrunchyRoll channel and select "Purchased through iTunes? Restore subscription." there's an "Accessing CrunchyRoll" spinner for a few seconds, and then the screen goes black and stays that way until the screensaver starts a few minutes later. No button except Menu has any effect, and that brings me back to the ATV home screen.
I've tried pretty much everything I can think of - rebooting, unplugging it and plugging it back in, signing out and back into the iTunes store first, changing from a wired connection to WiFi (and back), trying to restore purchases while signed out (I'm taken to the iTunes sign in form, and I can enter my AppleID and password, but on submitting it goes back to the same black screen state where the menu button takes you back out (and I am not signed in to iTunes)), resetting the ATV, restoring the ATV... nothing works and now I'm out of ideas. Help!
