Hi guys!

I kinda have a big issue and would appericiate all your helps and advices.

I restored my iPhone 4S running 7.0.4 as new to make sure that the Evaison jailbreak would work fine. And of course, I did a complete backup of my device.

But, as I was restoring, my PC suddenly turned off. I guess it was a kinda heat issue which occurs very seldom. When I connected to iTunes, it started to overwrite the "old" which i wanted to restore from. So, when I wanted to restore from a backup, it basically want to restore from the "new" backup which has nothing of my actual data.

But. I still can find and see the correct "old" backup in Finder, but iTunes wont show it when I try to restore from backup: Users\(username)\AppData\Roaming\Apple Computer\MobileSync\Backup\

Please help me guys.. I dont want to lose all my private data and pictures, as this backup is the only backup I have left!

Thanks for any advice and help!

I know this doesn't help you now, but this is why it's VERY important to ALWAYS check "Prevent devices from syncing automatically."

Automatic syncing is evil incarnate.

Did you have iCloud enabled to try and restore contacts, photos, documents, and potentially app data in conjunction with local backups to your PC?
