Cant restore to backup after updating to 4.2.1

So I just updated to 4.2.1, jailbroke with greenpois0n, but after updating while syncing with my backup, it failed.

I now keep trying to restore to 4.2.1 again to restore to my backup, but I cannot even restore now. The error I get is 'This device isnt eligible for the requested build', and it just gets stuck on the progress bar with 'Verifying iPhone restore with apple'. I also get Error 1600 if I try to restore once blocking Apple in my hosts file.

I would really appreciate some help with this, need to get all my contacts and app data back!

So you're trying to restore/downgrade your firmware version down to 4.2.1
So you're on 4.3 right now correct?
Did you save your shsh blobs before using cydia or Tinyumbrella?
You cannot restore to older firmware without those.

Hey sorry I wasnt that clear.

I was on 4.1 and jailbroken, and I have my shsh saved for 4.2.1 via Cydia.

I just saved my shsh again but using Tinyumbrella, and tried restoring with itunes but I got Error 1013 halfway through. Damn I dont know how to win haha
