I have no idea what the problem is, but it's getting to be a hassle as of late. I have reinstalled multiple times, and beta 3.0 isn't an option because it won't run with the custom skin I have installed. Has this ever happened to anyone?

Why not try dragging the image out of Safari to the Desktop, or into Pages, or wherever you're trying to send it.

Also, check System Preferences to make sure right clicking is enabled.

Right clicking is enabled and dragging has just become a hassle when using Photoshop and the likes. I know my stuff, I have just never come across something like this.

Weird, well you can always try the old repair permissions and stuff.

As a side note, you can drag images directly from Safari into Photoshop's Dock icon.

The skin, but I got rid of it and the clicking still doesn't work. I have tried using control and clicking as well as using two fingers with the trackpad.

I can't right click images either

It just stopped working. Control-click doesn't work either. I can right click other stuff in Safari and get contextual menus, just not images, so it's not my mouse. I have current everything, nothing weird installed.

That's bizarre. I wonder if there's anything in common with your systems. In the four and a half years I've owned a Mac I've never had problems right-clicking images in Safari.
