Can't Run BiteSMS - Help

Maybe somebody can help. I have never used BiteSMS, but figured I’d give it a try due to the many good things I read and I text quite a bit. I’m on 4.2.6 with Verizon and I’ve been jailbroken since I got the phone on release day.

Once I install BiteSMS and respring, it will crash into safemode. Sometimes I can actually get to the Bite icon and click on it, but it crashes into safe immediately. I havent yet been able to open the program pass the blank opening screen or use any of its features. Once I remove Bite and respring everything is fine. Below are all my substrates and I have tried to disable all of them via sbsettings and I still have the same results.

If it means anything, I've downloaded the trial version of IRealSMS and it runs flawlessly.

Is anybody successfully running Bite on 4.2.6? Any other suggestions?

No input? Can anybody confirm they are running successfully on 4.2.6 with verizon?

I've tried everything I can think of short of a restore rejailbreak..I don't plan on doing that because nothing else malcfunctions.

And this was on 4.2.6? I tried the cracked version from sinful also but no luck.

Anybody else?
 
I have no intention of helping someone who's using cracked apps so first pls remove the sinful version and reinstall the trial. (God knows what .plists/strings the sinful version will leave behind so fingers crossed...

biteSMS offers an ad supported free version and even that is too much for pirates, aka electronic looters, to handle. Very sad.
 
No need to turn this into a piracy debate. I have every intention of using the real version if I can get it to work. I dl the sinful version for experimental purposes only.

If you aren't going to help me get bitesms working, feel free to make your own threads. TY.

You clearly have missed the point. You do not need to use a pirate version. Delete it and download the legitimate free version. This is not complicated.

You have missesdthe point. If you'd read the thread you'd know that the pirated version, as well as all other versions available crash into safemode. The phone is unusable with any version installed. It was removed long ago. Enough with this please. This is simple.
 
Sigh. You have screwed up your phone by installing the pirate version. Clean up your mess, then re-install.

so you want to get the pirated version to work before trying the free legit version?
 
I tried all the legit versions first. It didn't work. I tried sinful because post number 3 said they had it working. It didn't work. The reason why it doesn't work has nothing to do with the fact that I installed a crack.

Let's please pay attention to the blackboard children.

why would i assume that when your post #12 says your have every intention on buy the real version once you get this working, that would imply you have yet to intall the real version

Youve implied incorrectly. The OP had nothing to do with a crack. I'm done feeding the trolls.

Any help would be appreciated. Irealsms is growing on me as an alternative.
