Can't run Pro Calibrator on Studio Display

For one reason or another I was looking to do a calibration on my Studio Display using the Pro Display calibrator on MacOS Sequoia. The calibrator tells me the display can't be calibrated and a firmware update is required. My display is on 17.0 firmware which I believe is the current version.

I don't see anything in the docs saying the calibrator can't be used on an Apple Display.

Any advice appreciated.
