Can't Save MMS photo to iPhoto?

I received a photo in an mms message and saved it to the Camera roll on my iPhone. When I sync my phone to iPhoto, it says the photo can't be found. My phone is running iOS 4.1 if that makes any difference.

Have you used Image Capture to transfer the image from your camera roll to the computer? If you can't find the app in Applications, click on the magnifying glass and type in the name of the app.

I tried but it says there is no camera connected.

EDIT: OK so I clicked on devices and this time my iPhone shows up. I was able to get the photo off without any further problem. Weird.
