can't save trackpad setting in Mavericks

Dear All,
i am new to Mac, just switch from Windows last week .. and i did setting of the trackpad ..however i can't save it .. every time i do the setting of mission control, swap between full screen apps & App Expose to swap with 3 fingers and close the window .. it return back to swap with 4 fingers ...

sometimes it work fine but when i restart the computer .. it return back ..

it's very annoying ..

hope that i can find an answer to my problem ..

I had trouble with this as well. It seems to be a problem with the profile. The only resolution I found was to create a new profile/account, and move over all my files. After this I was able to save my trackpad settings. I hope this helps.
