Good evening all, I just got a HP Deskjet F4280 from Argos as they were giving away a free HP wireless G USB print server.

I have set up the printer on both a Mac and PC and it will print and scan to both quite happily.

The fun started when I tried to scan to the Mac and PC wirelessly. No joy. It just give me an error message saying

"sorry scanner could not be initialized. (Scanner not found.)"

Immediately prior to and after trying to scan I wirelessly printed something so as to check that nothing else had gone wrong, for example with the settings or the connection.

It clearly states on the box of the print server that you can "Easilly add wireless to your printer or all-in-one- allows Pc's or Macs to print, scan, copy or fax wirelessly"

So I don't think that I am trying to do the impossible.

If anybody has any idea it would be very much appreciated. :):)
