Can't search files (spotlight) in Windows machines on lan, fix?

Hello guys, i just notice that when on macOS, spotlight doesn't work when i try to search files that are stored on numerous windows machines that are on my lan. Is it normal and how can i fix this? Same happen with my nas, if i search some files stored on it, well spotlight report 0 results :(
