Can't search local business results in google?

When doing a google search, I can click maps to get to local business search.

On the iPad, this doesn't work, and it just opens the iPad maps app instead!


Any way around this?

[edit] it only does it if you have already done a google search.
clicking maps on the google homepage without anything in the text box does work...
