Before iOS 8, I was able to view photos on my iPad mini from an SD card, using an adapter. Now -- nothing. I plug in the SD card, and the ipad ignores it. The photos were taken in RAW with a Nikon d5300.

Anyone else? Suggestions?

Only help I can offer, is that I imported pics to my iPad 4 on iOS 8.0.2, but those were jpegs. Also fwiw, I'm using the old 30pin SD card reader, with a lightning adapter.

I have a Pentax and I was able to import raw photos from my SD card to my iPad Air using iOS 8. Have you tried rebooting the iPad?

Same problem, had to reinstall operating system

I went through this too. Eventually just reinstalled operating system for a different reason. After the new install, I noticed this problem was resolved.
