Can't select links in Apple Mail.

I have a strange problem with Apple Mail. When I receive emails with links in them I cannot click the links. In fact I can't even touch the links. If I attempt to put the cursor on the link as soon as the cursor touches the link the email instantly jumps to the top of the message. What is causing this? Thanks
