cant send bluetooth files to imac from phone

Hi there,

i just got a samsung mobile phone given to me, i have no usb lead, its has bluetooth and ive paired and connected it with my imac i3. But i cannot send photo files to the imac it keeps saying 'connection failed' when i try to use the imac to browse the phone files i can't see any pictures/video in the folders on the phone to download on to the mac, but there is data there, i just cant see from the imac.

Any help would be really appreciated, thanks in advance.
